Is Protoflow Gluten Free and Non-GMO? Label vs Claim
Whether Protoflow is gluten free is not confirmed by the label. The ingredient list shows no wheat, barley or rye, but it prints no gluten-free statement and no test result. The sales page says "Non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free", yet no certifier is named. If you have celiac disease, ask the order desk for written proof first.

Is Protoflow gluten free?
It may be, but the label does not say so. The other ingredients are rice flour, gelatin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, maltodextrin, soy protein concentrate and water.
None of those is a wheat, barley or rye grain by name. Maltodextrin can come from corn, rice, potato or wheat, and the label does not give its source.
Oat straw is an active ingredient at 32 mg per serving. Oats can pick up gluten from nearby crops unless they are certified, and the label says nothing about that.
| Item | What the label shows |
|---|---|
| Wheat, barley or rye listed | No |
| Gluten-free statement | Not printed |
| Maltodextrin source | Not printed |
| Oat straw gluten testing | Not printed |
What does the sales page claim about gluten and GMOs?
The sales page says "Non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free". One of those three is already wrong, because the capsule contains gelatin and is not vegan.
That does not prove the other two claims false. It does mean the line was not checked against the label, so do not rely on it alone.
Two vendor badges repeat the claims: a green GMO-free roundel and a wheat "naturally gluten free" seal. Neither names a certifier or a test. Our testing and quality page reviews them.
What does non-GMO or gluten free mean on a supplement?
On a bottle, these words are claims the seller makes, not approvals. FDA does not approve supplements or their labeling before sale (FDA, Dietary Supplements Q&A).
Wheat is one of nine major food allergens that food labels must name (FDA, Food Allergies (major allergens)). That page covers food labeling generally and does not say how supplements are treated. The Protoflow label has no separate "Contains" line.
People with celiac disease or a wheat allergy need proof, not a lack of wheat in the list. Ask your doctor before trying any new supplement.
Soy is on the label, so the "allergen-friendly" idea fails for soy-allergic readers. See our supplement facts page for the full list.

FAQ
Protoflow gluten and GMO questions
01Is the wheat seal on the Protoflow page a gluten-free certification?
No. It is a vendor graphic with no certifier or test named. Real gluten-free claims rest on lab testing of the product, so ask the desk for a result tied to your lot before relying on it.
02Could the maltodextrin in Protoflow contain wheat?
It could, since maltodextrin is made from several starches, including wheat. The label does not name the source. Ask the order desk, particularly if you have celiac disease or a wheat allergy.
03Is there a certified non-GMO mark on the Protoflow bottle?
We saw none on the label. A green GMO-free roundel appears in vendor graphics, but no certifier is named. Treat the claim as unverified until the desk sends documents.
